Spend a day immersed in our unique arboretum environment capturing the essence of Spring.

With many years experience in illustration and publishing Sandra Morris is the perfect guide to help you in capturing the essence of nature’s seasonal changes.  This workshop allows you to spend a day within our special arboretum taking time to open your senses to all that the environment offers.  Create a personal journal of your day as you notice the sounds, colours and activity that are integral to the natural space around you.  Record plants, birds and other wildlife using illustrations, sketches and written word.

Sandra completed a MFA at Elam School of Fine Arts before going on to gain a Post-Graduate Diploma in Plant and Wildlife Illustration from the University of Newcastle in Australia.  She has taught for many years and is passionate about community education.  Sandra is a member of both The Botanical Art Society of NZ and The Botanical Art Society of America.
