22 teams from Year 5 & 6 and 26 teams from Year 7 & 8 face off to test their book knowledge. Who will be crowned 2024 Waikato Book Battle Champions?

Multiple school teams from across the Waikato will gather to compete for the hotly contested title of 2024 Waikato Book Battle Champions. This year we have 22 Year 5 & 6 and 26 Year 7 & 8 teams entered for an exciting competition designed to foster a love of reading among our tamariki. Teams have done their preparation and studied specific titles to face off in a dynamic round of multiple-choice questions, double point rounds and mystery challenges. Who will be crowned our champions this year? Come and watch all the action.

9:30 – 11:00am (Year 5 & 6) and 12:30 – 2:00pm (Year 7 & 8).
