Beginner/ Intermediate Pottery Course - 8 weeks (Tuesdays)

This pottery course gives you the opportunity to become confident at wheel throwing and explore how to glaze and fire your works.

The pottery course involves eight 2.5 hour lessons spread over 8 weeks.

The course is designed for first-time potters over 12 years of age and also caters for intermediate students to further develop their skills.

At the end of this pottery course, you will be confident in wheel throwing, trimming, glazing, hand building and coiling to create bowls, plates and other works and have gained an understanding of the processes and terminology critical to ceramic art.

The pottery course price includes Mac’s Mud clay, use of tools, aprons and facilities, and the firing and glazing of 4 pieces of work. You are welcome to have extra pieces fired at an additional cost. All you need to bring is suitable clothing for working with clay.
