Founded in 1938, Auckland City Brass (ACB) is a high-calibre community brass band based in Three Kings, Auckland. ACB performs regularly in concerts, regional and national contests, and at a range of community events.
The band’s members are aged 15-75 and include professional musicians, university music students, and passionate amateur musicians from a wide variety of professions.
ACB is conducted by Mark Close, former Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra trombonist.
