The iconic Art@thePort Festival – an annual event held on the Sunday of Labour Weekend. Established 2008, Art@thePort aims to encourage and promote creativity in our community, and the Festival is the perfect showcase for our local artists and artisans plus invited guests.

Port Waikato is a small coastal village approx’ 1 hour from Auckland and Hamilton cities. At the mouth of the mighty Waikato River, the area features a long black iron-sand beach and sweeping coastal sand dunes. Port Waikato offers a remote, relaxed atmosphere that feels far removed from city life.
