Arts Under the Mountain 2025 Stall Holder

    24 Sep – 20 Oct, 2025

We are holding our annual Arts Under the Mountain Festival in Te Aroha on Sunday 02 November from 10am to 2pm. This vibrant event has something for everyone!

Our event will provide a great opportunity for artists to showcase their work, either individually or as a collective.

With just under 6 weeks to go till Festival Day the excitement is building!  Whitaker Street will be closed off and Street performers, musicians, sonic sounds in the arcade, workshops, a fashion competition and a diverse range of art & craft sites will make for a great vibe and an interesting & fun filled event.

Te Aroha will be buzzing with 1000 Motorhome and Caravan owners attending the NZMCA Te Aroha Romp sold out event.  On Sunday Adrian Worsley, renowned Te Aroha Sculptor will also open his gallery.  This is a once a year opportunity to meet the artist and see behind the scenes of his incredible workshop and there is a huge interest from people wishing to do this.

If that isn’t enough to entice you, Analogue Aotearoa is also running in Te Aroha over the same weekend.  This is a first in New Zealand and is dedicated to celebrating the beauty, craft, and community of film and handmade photography and printing, through exhibitions, workshops, artist talks, photo walks and much more!

We are keen to lock in our site participant spaces with many now confirmed.  As a little incentive to get your registration & payment in by 20 October, all site participants, including those that have already registered will go in the draw to win a night of luxury at ‘the Old Church’ boutique accommodation valued at over $ 200.  This will be drawn on the day. Check it out here.

Information and an application form are available on the Te Aroha Business Association Website.
