Local artisans from Te Puaha o Waikato/Port Waikato open their studios to the public for this 2 day annual event.

Come along to see behind the scenes and into the studios of a broad range of creative practice at Sunset Beach, Port Waikato.

Now in it’s fourth year, the artists for 2024 include Matt Coker @altered-studio, Janine Blackburn @janine.blackburn1, Kim Keary @tranquility_journey, Jo Moon @moon_weaving, Carin Nicola @blackbatchceramics and Robin Ranga from Windsong studio @robin.ranga. All studios will be offering ‘hands-on’ experiences, with painting, jigsaws, card making, weaving and wheel throwing to try.

Most of the studios are within walking distance of each other, local cafe Sundays will be open from 8am – 1pm, the legendary Sunset Takeaways will be open from 12pm and @foam.brews will be offering treats & gf goodies from 7am – 3pm on the Sunday.
