Art Gives Wings Gallery, 75 Bridge Street, Tokoroa
The inaugural art crawl will begin with the wonderful works of various artists at Art Gives Wings, 75 Bridge Street. Director and tutor, Sonnett Olls has opened up this art space for the community, and this Matariki is a time to celebrate well-being. Sonnett promotes the power of art in lifting us above our situations. Cook Island drums will resound throughout the town welcoming you to this first Matariki-themed artistic celebration.
As the Bob Tiaki and his drummers drum, there will be a DANCE OFF to win a pair of customised Matariki Kicks- so be there and be ready to shake that healthy body.
The shoes are the artistry of Jaxon Greening, Director of Gyst for Kickz, contact him on gystforkickz@gmail.com or visit his Facebook Page.
