Come along to Waikato Museum for discussion and insights on the opening day of our new exhibition Art and Wonder: Gifts from the Friends of Waikato Museum, curated in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Friends of Waikato Museum.
Curator Dr Nadia Gush will be joined by Catherine Smith, President of the Friends of Waikato Museum, and Peter Dornauf, author of the new publication ‘101 Contemporary Waikato Artists’. Their presentations will be followed by an opportunity for questions from the audience.
Entry to this event is free and no booking is required. Seating will be allocated by ‘first come, first served’. Please let our kaimahi (staff) know if we can assist you with any accessibility requirements.
The exhibition Art and Wonder: Gifts from the Friends of Waikato Museum is open daily 10am to 5pm from Friday 10 May to Sunday 21 July 2024 and entry is free.
