160 years since the Battle of Ō-Rākau, Julia Iti Prendergast (Ngāti Maniapoto) shows AKE AKE AKE. An installation to hold space for our tūpuna who fought 160 years ago and tangata whenua who have been fighting since, we offer ammunition as koha.
Opening night April 4th from 5pm to 6:30pm at Nancy Caiger Gallery in Kirikiriroa (The Meteor).
