Sometimes idyllic, sometimes disquieting in their sensation, Tim and Tracy’s paintings together re-see familiar subjects of pastoral and waters scenes.

In these paintings the light glistens and the sumptuous luminous colour radiates the scene and sensualises to the figures and objects.The paintings often shimmer as translucent layers come and go. In others, richly varied surfaces slide from scumbled canvas to pigment heavily drizzled and spread.

At times the paintings invoke a kind of sultry languor of the late summer around here while at others an invigorating cool light excites an otherwise benign incident.
