2-Day Wild Clay Processing Workshop

Mar 18 – 19

This is a hands-on two-day workshop of wild clay processing. Learn how to make pottery clay with the help of Driving Creek Pottery staff.

Join us at Driving Creek Pottery for some messy and fun clay processing. During the 2-day workshop you will learn the valuable skill of how to make and process your own pottery clay.

Day 1: We start by digging the clay, then mixing it into a slurry before sieving it and drying it over fire overnight.

Day 2: The dried clay will be scooped up, transferred, pugged, and bagged for use.

At the end of the workshop, you can take home a portion of the product of your hard work. Please make sure you bring suitable clothes and shoes for working with clay.

* Accommodation is not available on site or included in the price.
